<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;">For some time now I had struggled in the search of a true identity of my art.
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;">I had always been guided by the “erotism” when creating a new image, emphasizing my emotional response to the male anatomy.
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;">In my search I became sensible to the textural properties of the human anatomy, and the interaction with the mood and atmosphere of its surroundings.
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;">One day, in an instant of sudden inspiration, I decided to play with colors, bold lines and contrasting shadows. And here is the result.
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;">The male figure still the main subject, but it’s expressed in a more active way, with movement, forms, and action.
<div class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: justify;">These paintings are part of a vast collection of images that I have done in the last decade. My work includes drawings, pastels, acrylics and oil paintings. I have done some photography as well.
Lalo Ugaldehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17692298647817514690noreply@blogger.com0
